Questions about the tides in the Space Coast
What time is high tide today in the Space Coast?
Today, at the Canova Beach station, used by 10 places in the Space Coast, high tide is at 10:03 am (4.8 ft) and 10:08 pm (4.5 ft), and low tide at 3:36 am and 4:07 pm. It can change by a few minutes from place to place: check each place's page.
Where is the biggest tide in the Space Coast?
Today, in Cape Canaveral: 5.1 ft between high and low tide (Port Canaveral station). The smallest is in Palm Bay, with 0.5 ft. The range changes every day with the moon.
When are the next spring tides in the Space Coast?
From October 26 to 28, after the new or full moon, with the moon near perigee, so they will be bigger than usual. At the Canova Beach station the coefficient will reach 89.
How many tides a day are there in the Space Coast?
The tide is semidiurnal: two high and two low tides a day, of similar height. Each high tide comes about 50 minutes later than the day before.
Why do some places in the Space Coast have no tide times?
12 of the 54 places have no tide station close enough, or in the same body of water, to give their times: the nearest one, Cocoa Beach, is 12 mi away on average. And we can't rely on the global tide model on this coast, so for now we don't show their tide. The sun, moon and spring tides on their pages are accurate.
What time are sunrise and sunset today in the Space Coast?
In the middle of the area, the sun rises at 7:32 am and sets at 6:41 pm: 11 h 9 min of daylight. In Ballard Pines it rises 2 minutes earlier than in Wiley.
