Where this tide comes from
T’aet’an-ŭp has no station of its own, so we use the tide at Sunwi-do (KHOA), 23 mi away. On the open coast the difference is usually a few minutes and inches; inside estuaries, rivers and enclosed bays it can be much larger.
Station data attribution: Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (해양수산부 국립해양조사원), harmonic constants of the TideBED reference ports (예측조위(타이드베드) 기준항 조화상수, 2025-08-12), station Sunwi-do (순위도, NS_0017), https://www.data.go.kr/data/15145395/fileData.do.
