Where this tide comes from
Amsil has no station of its own, so we use the tide at Ganghwa Bridge (KHOA), 5.1 mi away. On the open coast the difference is usually a few minutes and inches; inside estuaries, rivers and enclosed bays it can be much larger.
Station data attribution: Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency (해양수산부 국립해양조사원), harmonic constants of the TideBED reference ports (예측조위(타이드베드) 기준항 조화상수, 2025-08-12), station Ganghwa Bridge (강화대교, DT_0032), https://www.data.go.kr/data/15145395/fileData.do. Water temperature changes how fish behave: in very cold or very warm water they feed less. The water cools over the next few days: about 58.6 °F by Wednesday 4.
Water about normal for late October.
