Where this tide comes from
Treasure Cay has no station of its own, so we use the tide at Pelican Harbor (NOAA), 28 mi away. On the open coast the difference is usually a few minutes and inches; inside estuaries, rivers and enclosed bays it can be much larger. It is a NOAA subordinate station: its times and heights come from the Settlement Point reference station with the official corrections.
